Overview: Step into a world of imagination and creativity with our Magical, Mythical Creatures Art Camp! This week-long journey is an artistic adventure where young artists will explore and bring to life the enchanting realm of mythical creatures. Our camp is designed to ignite the creative spark in every camper through a variety of art mediums and techniques, all centered around the fascinating theme of magical creatures from folklore and fantasy.

Artistic Explorations:

• Clay Hand Building: Delve into the tactile world of clay by sculpting and shaping your very own mythical creatures. Campers will learn various hand-building techniques to create textured, detailed, and imaginative clay sculptures.
• Pottery Painting: Transform pottery into magical artifacts with vibrant paints and glazes. Campers will learn about color theory and design principles to create pottery that looks like it came straight out of a mythical tale.
• Canvas Painting: Bring mythical scenes to life on canvas. Campers will be introduced to canvas painting techniques, enabling them to depict enchanting landscapes and legendary creatures with brushes and colors.
• Watercolor Techniques: Discover the fluid and expressive medium of watercolor. Campers will learn how to blend and layer watercolors to create ethereal and dreamy artworks featuring their favorite mythical beings.
• Multi-Media Art: Combine various materials and methods for a grand creative project. This segment encourages campers to use everything they’ve learned throughout the week, blending techniques like collage, painting, and sculpting to create unique, mixed-media pieces.

Camp Experience: Our camp provides a fun, supportive, and educational environment where imagination knows no bounds. Campers will have the opportunity to:

• Engage in hands-on art projects inspired by magical and mythical themes.
• Collaborate with fellow campers, sharing ideas and inspiration.
• Learn from experienced artists and instructors who specialize in various art forms.
• Develop a diverse range of artistic skills and techniques.
• Showcase their creations in a celebratory exhibition at the end of the camp.

Who Should Attend: This camp is perfect for young artists who are fascinated by the mystical world of mythical creatures and eager to explore their creativity across multiple art forms. No previous art experience is necessary – just a willingness to dive into the magical world of art and imagination!

Join us for a magical journey where art and myth intertwine, creating an unforgettable experience for every young artist! Camp is Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm for full day campers or 9 am to 1 pm for half day campers.

Please pack a nut-free lunch, 2 snacks, and a water bottle for full day campers, a lunch, 1 snack, and a water bottle for half day campers.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All camps at Paint ‘n Fun Ceramics are NON-REFUNDABLE. Failure to show up or cancel with less than 30 days’ notice will result in loss of payment and no account credit will be issued. Any management approved cancellations/reschedules will be provided in the form of Paint ‘n Fun Ceramics Account Credit ONLY. Paint ‘n Fun Ceramics Account credits must be redeemed within 90 days. Class minimums and registrations are required for us to order properly order supplies and provide proper staffing. Make-up days are not provided for days missed during our Camps. If we must cancel a camp due to low participation, you will be issued a credit that can be used for another camp during the current year.
