Kids Camps

Stoneware Flower Wall Hangers

Adult Children Clay Handbuilding

Join us for a fun wall decor building class! $55 ticket includes stoneware clay for TWO flowers per person, instructions, firing, glazing and 2nd firing. You will start with raw wet stoneware clay and with step and step instruction, you will complete two flower wall hangers! Adults and kids ages 12+ welcome.

After you finish, you will leave your two flowers with us to dry slowly for 2-3 weeks. All clay projects are ONLY HELD for 30 days ONCE FIRED no exceptions.

Stoneware Planter

Clay Handbuilding

Join us for an evening of creating your own planter from stoneware clay! Stoneware clay is weather safe and can be used outside! Your $55 ticket includes clay, step-by-step instruction, firing, glazes, and 2nd firing. First you will create your custom planter from wet raw stoneware clay. Choose your textures, design, and accents! Then you will leave your planter with us for 2-3 weeks to slowly dry then we will fire them.

Pottery Wheels Try It Wheels

TRY IT! Pottery Wheel Class - Please READ entire description!
Join us for a 2 hour wheel class - you will learn how to center your clay on the wheel and create a bowl/vessel. Try it classes are great for all levels - Class includes instruction, demonstration and the basics for beginning to use the wheel. You will prepare your clay and learn to properly clean and care for the wheel. Please dress for a mess and bring a towel for your lap - long hair should be tied up - no jewelry - please remove all rings, watches, bracelets before coming to the studio.

Firing your piece is NOT included in the $35 price - This is a true TRY IT Class. You can make as many pieces as you like in the allotted time - There is a $20 firing/glazing fee for each piece. This fee includes firing to bisque, return visit to glaze, and the glaze firing. Clay must have plenty of time to dry slowly so as not to crack - it takes approximately 7 to 10 days for pieces to dry then another 3 days for firing. You will return in approximately 2 weeks to glaze your piece. All pots are held for 30 days after bisque firing - NO EXCEPTIONS.

Join us for a super fun painting class! Tickets are ONLY $30- all materials provided. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from the dining room at the River Course.

Stoneware Clay Hand Building – Mr. Rooster

Clay Handbuilding

Create your very own clay rooster! $45 includes clay, instructions, firing, glazing, and 2nd firing. Includes all materials for one Rooster. After you have completed your rooster, you will leave it with us to slowly dry for 2-3 weeks. We will reach out to the email/cell phone you provide to let you know when the rooster is ready for pickup. You can return at your convenience (within 15 days) to glaze your rooster in our studio during regular open hours. We will then fire one more time for a complete project! Adults and kids ages 12+ welcome in this workshop!

We are introducing our intermediate Wheel Throwing Class. If you have taken at least 2 of our Try It Classes and want to learn more, then this class is for you! 

Our instructor, Joe, will work with you to create a tea cup and saucer from beginning to end, including trimming, handle extrusion, placement, and glaze. You will have time to create additional pieces (at $20 per piece if you keep them - price includes clay, up to 1.5 lbs, bisque firing, glaze, and glaze firing). 

At the end of your course, you will receive a certificate of completion and be eligible for our 8 week advanced course that will begin in the Fall.

*All Sales Final - Due to the nature of this course, there are no make up dates or reschedules.
If the course does not fill with at least 4 guests, we reserve the right to reschedule the course until we have 4 participants.
