Our Try-It Classes are now using Stoneware Clay. Stoneware clay is oven, dishwasher and microwave safe!

TRY IT – Pottery Wheel Class – $40 READ ALL CLASS DETAILS BELOW

Join us for a 2 hour wheel class – you will learn how to center your clay on the wheel and create a bowl/vessel. Try it classes are great for all levels – Class includes instruction, demonstration and the basics for beginning to use the wheel. You will prepare your clay and learn to properly clean and care for the wheel. Please dress for a mess and bring a towel for your lap – long hair should be tied up – no jewelry – please remove all rings, watches, bracelets before coming to the studio.

Firing your piece is NOT included in the $40 price – This is a true TRY IT Class. You can make as many pieces as you like in the allotted time – There is a $25 firing/glazing fee for each piece. This fee includes firing to bisque, CHOICE OF 6 GLAZE COLORS, and the glaze firing. Clay must have plenty of time to dry slowly so as not to crack – it takes approximately 7 to 10 days for pieces to dry then another 3 days for firing. WE WILL GLAZE YOUR PIECE AND THEN TEXT YOU WHEN YOUR PIECE IS READY TO PICK UP. All pots are held for 30 days after GLAZE firing – NO EXCEPTIONS.

Safety in the Pottery Studio

Always follow the instructions of your teacher.
Students will not load, unload or operate the pottery kilns.
Keep hair tied back.
Do not wear articles of clothing or jewelry that hang off the body.
Do not wear open toed or open heeled footwear (i.e., flip-flops, sandals or clogs) in the pottery studio.
Do not use any equipment without an instructor present.
All completed work must be picked up from Paint ‘n Fun Ceramics no later than 6 weeks after the student’s final class. Paint ‘n Fun Ceramics is not responsible for any work left longer than 6 weeks. It is the student’s responsibility to pick up their work.

Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing our events. We understand that sometimes plans can change, and we strive to accommodate those changes as efficiently as possible. To ensure clarity and fairness for all our guests, we have outlined our cancellation policy below:

  1. Non-Refundable Tickets: All ticketed events are non-refundable. We carefully plan and prepare for each event based on the number of attendees, and as a result, we cannot offer refunds once a ticket has been purchased.
  2. Rescheduling with Notice: If you are unable to attend an event and would like to reschedule, you may do so by providing at least 3 business days’ notice. This notice period allows us to adjust our preparations accordingly. We do not accept rescheduling requests over the phone.
  3. How to Reschedule: To reschedule your ticket, please use our automated system. Visit our homepage, scroll to the bottom, and click on the link labeled “Reschedule My Ticket.” Follow the prompts to request a voucher for rescheduling your event. Alternatively, you can email us at paintnfunceramics@gmail.com to notify us in writing no less than 72 hours prior to your scheduled event and we will issue a voucher less a 30% convenience fee for us to manually issue the voucher. Again, we do not accept rescheduling requests over the phone.
  4. Voucher Validity: Upon rescheduling, you will receive a voucher valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Please use your voucher within this time frame, as it expires after 30 days.
  5. Using Your Voucher: Your voucher can be applied to book any future event of your choice, subject to availability. Keep in mind that the event must occur within the 30-day validity period of your voucher.

Description of Event Reservation Insurance:

Event Reservation Insurance offers attendees’ peace of mind when booking tickets for our exclusive, non-refundable events. It ensures that your investment is protected in case of unexpected circumstances that may prevent you from attending. It also prevents our business from a loss due to circumstances that are neither your fault nor ours. We spend considerable time and effort preparing in advance for our events, which costs us time and money.

    • Protection for your ticket purchase against unforeseen events.
    • Flexibility to reschedule your attendance without financial loss.
    • Assurance that your ticket investment is safeguarded.
  2. Coverage Details:
    • Rescheduling coverage for reasons such as illness, emergencies, or unforeseen obligations.
    • Options for rescheduling attendance without penalty for last-minute situations.
    • Reservation Insurance does not apply to Art Camp Reservations.
  3. Policy Terms and Conditions:
    • Reservation Insurance must be purchased at the same time your ticket is originally purchased. Ticket insurance cannot be added once ticket purchase is complete.
    • All of our ticketed events offered online can have ticket insurance added at the time of making your reservation. There is no refund of event reservation insurance if not used.
    • Details on how to file a claim: Your request for use of your ticket insurance must be made in writing via email to info@paintnfunceramics.com at least one hour prior to the event start time. We will not accept event reservation insurance claims over the phone or claims made less than one hour prior to the event – no exceptions.
  4. Cost:
    • Only $7.50 per ticket for Canvas Classes and PYOP Ticketed Events
    • Only $9.50 per ticket for Clay and Pottery Wheel Classes

    • Option to purchase event reservation insurance during the ticket booking process.
