Join us for a delightful day of pottery and creativity at our Handcrafted Stoneware Salt & Pepper Shakers with Caddy Workshop. This event is perfect for anyone who loves to add a personal touch to their dining table or is looking for a unique, handmade gift. This is a 2 part class. Your first class will focus on hand crafting your project. You will return in approximately 2 weeks during any of our regular walk-in hours to glaze your piece. Class is appropriate for ages 13+

• Introduction to Stoneware: Begin with an introduction to stoneware clay – its properties and the endless possibilities it offers for creating durable and aesthetically pleasing kitchenware.
• Designing Your Set: Learn how to design a cohesive set of salt and pepper shakers along with a matching caddy using our templates. We’ll cover design elements like shape, size, and functionality to ensure your set is not only beautiful but also practical.
• Hand-Building Techniques: Our expert instructors will guide you through the hand-building process. You’ll learn various techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab construction to shape your salt and pepper shakers and caddy.
• Surface Decoration and Texturing: Explore different ways to decorate your set. This includes adding textures, carving designs, or experimenting with our unique clay stamps.
• Glazing and Firing: Choose from our range of glazes to give your set the perfect finish. After glazing, your creations will be fired in a kiln, making them food-safe and durable.
• Take Home Your Masterpiece: Once your set is fired and ready, you can take it home to add a personal touch to your dining experience or give it as a unique, handcrafted gift.

Cancellation Policy

1. Non-Refundable Tickets: All ticketed events are non-refundable. We carefully plan and prepare for each event based on the number of attendees, and as a result, we cannot offer refunds once a ticket has been purchased.
2. Rescheduling with Notice: If you are unable to attend an event and would like to reschedule, you may do so by providing at least 3 business days’ notice. This notice period allows us to adjust our preparations accordingly.
3. How to Reschedule: To reschedule your ticket, please use our automated system. Visit our homepage, scroll to the bottom, and click on the link labeled “Reschedule My Ticket.” Follow the prompts to request a voucher for rescheduling your event.
4. Voucher Validity: Upon rescheduling, you will receive a voucher valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Please use your voucher within this time frame, as it expires after 30 days.
5. Using Your Voucher: Your voucher can be applied to book any future event of your choice, subject to availability. Keep in mind that the event must occur within the 30-day validity period of your voucher.
