Join us for an exciting and creative workshop where you’ll handcraft your very own guacamole bowl using stoneware clay! This event is perfect for both beginners and seasoned artisans who want to blend their love for art and culinary delights. This workshop requires 2 visits to our studio. The first visit is to craft your bowl, then you will return in about 2 weeks to glaze your bowl during any of our regular walk-in hours.

Event Highlights:

• Introduction to Stoneware: Begin with an introduction to stoneware clay – its properties, potential, and why it’s perfect for making durable and beautiful kitchenware.
• Hand-Building Techniques: Our expert instructors will guide you through the process of hand-building your bowl. You’ll learn how to use our templates to create your masterpiece using the slip and score technique.
• Surface Decoration: Discover the art of decorating your bowl. This can include adding textures, carving designs, or using our cool tools to create a bowl that is uniquely yours!
• Glazing and Firing: Choose from a range of glazes to finish your bowl. Your creation will then be fired a 2nd time in our kiln, making it food-safe and perfect for holding your delicious guacamole.
• Take Home Your Masterpiece: Once fired, your one-of-a-kind guacamole bowl will be ready for you to take home, use, and cherish.

This workshop not only offers a fun and relaxing way to get creative but also provides you with a unique piece of functional art you’ve made with your own hands. It’s a perfect way to add a personal touch to your kitchen or to give as a thoughtful, handmade gift. No previous clay experience is required – just bring your enthusiasm and be ready to get a little messy.

Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing our events. We understand that sometimes plans can change, and we strive to accommodate those changes as efficiently as possible. To ensure clarity and fairness for all our guests, we have outlined our cancellation policy below:

1. Non-Refundable Tickets: All ticketed events are non-refundable. We carefully plan and prepare for each event based on the number of attendees, and as a result, we cannot offer refunds once a ticket has been purchased.
2. Rescheduling with Notice: If you are unable to attend an event and would like to reschedule, you may do so by providing at least 3 business days’ notice. This notice period allows us to adjust our preparations accordingly.
3. How to Reschedule: To reschedule your ticket, please use our automated system. Visit our homepage, scroll to the bottom, and click on the link labeled “Reschedule My Ticket.” Follow the prompts to request a voucher for rescheduling your event.
4. Voucher Validity: Upon rescheduling, you will receive a voucher valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Please use your voucher within this time frame, as it expires after 30 days.
5. Using Your Voucher: Your voucher can be applied to book any future event of your choice, subject to availability. Keep in mind that the event must occur within the 30-day validity period of your voucher.
