Join us for a delightful day of pottery and creativity at our Handcrafted Stoneware Bird Planter. This event is perfect for anyone who loves to add a personal touch to their living space or is looking for a unique, handmade gift. This is a 2 part class. Your first class will focus on hand crafting your project. You will return in approximately 2 weeks during any of our regular walk-in hours to glaze your piece. Class is appropriate for ages 13+

Event Highlights:

Introduction to Stoneware: Begin with an introduction to stoneware clay – its properties and the endless possibilities it offers for creating durable and aesthetically pleasing indoor and outdoor planters.

Designing Your Bird: Learn how to design a unique planter using our templates. We’ll cover design elements like shape, size, and functionality to ensure your planter is not only beautiful but also practical.

Hand-Building Techniques: Our expert instructors will guide you through the hand-building process. You’ll learn various techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab construction to shape your bird into a beautiful planter and work of art.

Surface Decoration and Texturing: Explore different ways to decorate your planter. This includes adding textures, carving designs, or experimenting with our unique clay stamps.

Glazing and Firing: Choose from our range of glazes to give your set the perfect finish. After glazing, your creations will be fired in a kiln, making them waterproof and perfect for your plants to thrive.

Take Home Your Masterpiece: Once your set is fired and ready, you can take it home to add a personal touch to your home decor or give it as a unique, handcrafted gift.

This workshop is a fantastic opportunity to get hands-on with clay, learn new skills, and create something both beautiful and functional. Whether you’re a seasoned potter or a complete beginner, our instructors will ensure you have all the support you need to create a stunning bird planter.

Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing our events. We understand that sometimes plans can change, and we strive to accommodate those changes as efficiently as possible. To ensure clarity and fairness for all our guests, we have outlined our cancellation policy below:

1. Non-Refundable Tickets: All ticketed events are non-refundable. We carefully plan and prepare for each event based on the number of attendees, and as a result, we cannot offer refunds once a ticket has been purchased.
2. Rescheduling with Notice: If you are unable to attend an event and would like to reschedule, you may do so by providing at least 3 business days’ notice. This notice period allows us to adjust our preparations accordingly.
3. How to Reschedule: To reschedule your ticket, please use our automated system. Visit our homepage, scroll to the bottom, and click on the link labeled “Reschedule My Ticket.” Follow the prompts to request a voucher for rescheduling your event.
4. Voucher Validity: Upon rescheduling, you will receive a voucher valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Please use your voucher within this time frame, as it expires after 30 days.
5. Using Your Voucher: Your voucher can be applied to book any future event of your choice, subject to availability. Keep in mind that the event must occur within the 30-day validity period of your voucher.
