Witch Hat Lantern – Clay Hand Building

Paint 'n Fun Ceramics Studio 782 New River Rd NW Suite 613, Christiansburg, VA, United States

In this class, you will learn how to make a WITCH HAT LANTERN using your creativity and imagination. Our experienced instructor will guide you through the process from start to finish. The class fee is $45 and it includes all the required materials for making a lantern. Once complete, your lantern will be left with us to dry for up to two weeks. During this time, the clay will slowly dry to prevent cracking.Once your creation has dried slowly, we will fire it to bisque and notify you via text that it is ready for you to come in to glaze. Please come in within 2 weeks of notification to glaze your piece. Then your lantern will need an additional firing, which will add a shiny finish to your witchy lantern.

Build your own unique Stoneware Mug or Ramen Bowl! Our staff will help you with raw stoneware clay, provide instruction to help you create a one of a kind design. No piece will fire the same! This project is a 12+ event. . All Stoneware pieces are dinnerware, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and freezer safe after firing. Your mug will be left with us for 1-2 weeks to ensure the clay has enough time to properly dry before firing. Ticket price does include return trip to glaze with specialty glazes and fire.
