Pottery Wheels

In our wheel throwing classes, you can learn how to successfully create your very own, unique vessel out of clay. The class is taught by a local master potter with years of teaching experience. The maximum class size is only four people so you will get plenty of one on one help from the instructor. This class is designed for ages 18 and up, however children 10 to 17 can participate with a parent participant.

HOW IT WORKS
Each class includes an hour and a half creating and learning with your instructor, glazing, and both firings of the clay. First, you will be making the piece, then in two weeks’ time you will come back to glaze it, and once it has been fired a second time we will call you to come pick it up. The two-week gap is to allow time for us to fire your vessel for the next step. Overall, the process will take about a month.

Once you take your first class, you will have the option to signup for a four-week course at a special price, learning to make various vessels such as bowls, mugs, vases, and teapots.
